The Value of Small Group

Acts 2:42“42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer….44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.”

Whether you call it partnership, teamwork, or community, the main issue here is others. You have been influenced by others and now becoming an influence to others. As we lived and believe in a “me-first mentality” because our society dignify individualistic achievement rather than team work, sad to say even good meaning Christians, we do it in our spiritual growth, we tent to make it a personal matter rather than being on a group.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SPIRITUAL GROWTH & MATURITY“Spiritual growth is NOT AUTHOMATIC once you are born again, it is intentional and requires commitment and effort to grow and  it is not only for the  selected few.  Any believer can grow to maturity if he or she will commit to it and develop the habits necessary for spiritual growth. There is no short cut to maturity, it is a process and it is not a private and personal matter for we develop and grow in the context of a fellowship”

Spiritual growth is not measured by what you know and you need more than the Bible to grow, though knowledge of the WORD of God is very important, it is not the total measurement. A balance of these five (5) levels of learning are the building blocks of spiritual maturity, and the measurement of spiritual growth. We must develop a key program to facilitate these following levels of learning: 1. Knowledge of the Word of God, 2. Perspective - (outlook, view, viewpoint, point of view) 3.Conviction 4. Skills and 5. Character. Be Connected and Grow Together You will grow and mature in a team, it will strengthen your relationship and your journey of life is shared. You can learn a lot from sitting in rows and listening to a preacher.  But the greatest changes to your life taken place in a group. TOGETHER
