You can sense the cold breeze as you walk around the neighborhood and
even casually seeing lights twilling in every house you passed by and you know
that the spirit of Christmas is just around the corner. People as excited no
matter how much pessimist are saying that Christmas spirit is not the same as
before but still the joy of the season still brim in the faces of many
specially the children. But I believed as adults that the spirit of Christmas
still excites us as we look forward to our bonuses, the gifts that we will give
and receive whether we are true to ourselves or not that sparkle and magic of
Christmas is still very much within our heart.
Have you ever asked why? Because we know – no
matter how we deny it because of reasoning and argument about dates and other
theological matters - the reason for the season is
imbed in to our heart, it the story of love and gift giving. Of love because
God demonstrated His love towards us that while we are still lost and no hope,
He gave the greatest gift of all and that is JESUS.
Now that we have already set our hearts in giving thanks to God in an
excellent way, let us continue to rejoice as we “Adore Him” Jesus the reason
for the season, the King of Glory. Come and behold Him, bow down before Him –
Jesus Christ.
As the chorus of a song said;
He gave the greatest Gift of all when He gave Jesus
He sent the greatest Gift of love wrapped in His Son.
He brought us hope when we had nothing left to hope for
Redemption's story had begun
He gave the greatest Gift of all when He gave Jesus
He sent the greatest Gift of love wrapped in His Son.
He brought us hope when we had nothing left to hope for
At last the long awaited promise,
The Gift the world was waiting for had come.
Let Us Adore Him
